Welcome to Little Bees Forest School
At Little Bees, our nature-based preschool program designed for children aged 3 to 5, we are all about embracing the great outdoors! With a curriculum inspired by nature and driven by child-led exploration, we believe in the power of outdoor play for young learners' development. Drawing inspiration from Waldorf and Montessori philosophies, we infuse our curriculum with a nature-focused twist. Our mixed-age setting allows younger children to learn alongside older peers, fostering a sense of community and leadership. With a low student-to-teacher ratio of 4:1, each child receives personalized attention to support their growth and development. Plus, we're all about embracing Alaska's weather, ensuring every child is equipped to enjoy outdoor adventures in any condition!

Our Program
At Little Bees, we provide a forest preschool program that emphasizes child-led play and learning in nature. Our focus on curriculum inspired by nature allows children to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of the world around them.

Low Ratio
At Little Bees, we keep a low ratio of 4 students to 1 teacher. We will have up to 8 students with Bri and our co-teacher each day. This allows your child the opportunity to get the support and encouragement they need for any activity from using scissors to putting on mittens.
Nature-based Learning
Our program is designed to foster a love of nature and promote environmental stewardship in young children. We believe that by connecting children with the natural world, we can inspire them to become lifelong learners and caring members of their communities.
